We understand that our customers have questions regarding the services we offer, so we have decided to answer some of the more common questions we receive to give a better understanding of everything. We will continue to update this page with new questions and answers as time goes on. If you have a question that is not answered, please contact us today.

What are your contract terms?

Our customers love that they are not tied into longterm contracts at Budget Self Storage. All of our contracts are month to month to give you the flexibility that you need.

Do you accept online payments?

Yes. You are given the option of enrolling in the “Premier Club” for online payment options through email.

What type of security is offered on the lot?

We supply all of our customers with high end locks free of charge at time of move in. Cameras are monitoring the grounds of Budget Self storage 24/7. Our gate hours are 6 AM to 10 PM.

Do you offer any discounts?

From time to time we will run a promotion. Be sure to check our Facebook page for updates.

Do you run any storage unit auctions on your property?

We place an ad in North Cass Herald newspaper when we have a unit up for auction. We also have a sale open to the public a few times a year. Check out our Facebook page for dates and times.

Are there any items not allowed to be stored in a unit on your property?

There a a few things that are not allowed, such as anything flammable, perishable, or hazardous. Please contact us if you have specific questions regarding an item.

What happens if a payment is late? Do I lose everything in my storage unit?

If your unit is late you will not have access into the gate. Budget Self Storage gives all customers a 5 day grace period before assessing a late fee of 20% of the rent. After the unit becomes 30 days delinquent Budget Self Storage can start the lien process towards selling the unit.

However, being a family owned business, we choose to work with our customers and arrange a payment schedule. If the customer is unreachable then Budget Self Storage will follow the Missouri Lien Laws and sell the unit.
